Is there parking available at the castle?
Yes we have plenty of car parking space at the castle. When guests arrive at the castle they will be directed by a member of staff to the car park closet to your accommodation. There is also car parking available next to the church, allowing guests to take their cars to the church if they wish.
Can guests book their accommodation through the castle?
No, guests book and pay for their accommodation directly with the bride & groom, the castle is unable to take bookings or payment for accommodation directly.
What time is check in and check out?
On day of arrival guests can check in from anytime after 2pm and check out time on the day of departure is midday, 12pm. If you are only staying for one night, check is from 10am on the morning of the wedding.
Is there accessible access and accommodation at Drumtochty Castle?
Yes all of reception rooms, ballroom and toilet facilities have level access on the ground floor of the castle, accessed via the ramp at the main entrance. However please note the church has stepped access.
There is accessible accommodation located in the West Wing and North Wing Flat 1. Also Stables number 1,3,5,7 and 11 are all ground floor apartments.
· Does the castle have WiFi?
Yes there is WIFI available in the castle, wings, stables and lodges, however it should be noted mobile phone signal can be intermittent.
What amenities are included in the rooms?
Each room is equipped with towels, toiletries, a hair dryer as well as access to iron and ironing board.
